Photowalks at LCE, Portsmouth

I was blessed with such a great bunch on the photo walk I held on Thursday 17th November, we experimented with long exposures and capturing movement using tripods, neutral density filters and some very useful apps.

We started at London Camera Exchange, Portsmouth because we were sponsored by Manfrotto we had a good selection of their awesome tripods to loan out for the day as well as neutral density filters by B+W and even a special 20% discount on all of their products on that day!

We began taking some images at Guildhall Sqaure, they’ve got the ice rink there at the moment, we had a good breeze in the air so we had a couple of opportunities to capture some movement of the clouds and people preparing the ice rink. From there we headed down to the docks via Victoria park capturing some lovely shots of the imposing HMS Warrior and the Spinaker tower. We had a great couple of hours with some pleased photowalkers.

 ”Very interesting & informative day”

 “Thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours”
